Planet Workshop Festival

On Saturday, the 21st of October, facilitators are coming together to host an inter-disciplinary event. This event will host five different workshops all at the Decathlon in Surrey Quays.

All the workshops are 3 hours in length and based upon the principles of collective intelligence and building sustainability communication skills.

The Schedule

Click the buttons below to be taken to the sign up pages.

Guidance for booking: Decathlon asks to create an account and then you need to find your cart with your ticket to finalise your registration. This is a bit annoying but this is for insurance reason so don’t give up. Let us know if you encounter any issues at registration! You will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration.

Please note that all participants must be aged 14+.

The Workshops

This 3-hour Transformative Learning Experience will give you a better understanding of how the climate system works and the causes and consequences of its disruption. You will gain the essential knowledge needed to take action.

The Digital Collage is a fun and collaborative 3-hour workshop based on collaboration and collective intelligence. The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness and train participants on the environmental issues of digital technology.

The Circular Economy Collage looks at our existing (linear) economic model, highlights its impacts and invites participants to explore a different, circular model, that uses fewer resources, designs out waste and respects the limits of our planet.

Biodiversity Collage is an interactive and collaborative workshop to enable participants to discover how ecosystems function, the uses of biodiversity for humankind, its interactions with human activity and the threats biodiversity currently faces.

Beta test the newest version of this workshop that addresses the environmental demands and impacts related to our personal mobility (transportation), and what actions can be taken to both individually and collectively to reduce them

Note: This is not a solely Climate Clarity CIC event. It is a voluntary event run by the Climate Fresk community of facilitators.
