DESCRIPTION:Walk\, make friends and learn!\nExplore the Climate Emergency via a transformative walking experience that leads participants into a profound connection with the natural world.\nThere will be prompted questions and discussions whilst walking in pairs and small groups to explore subjects that are profound and connecting. \nEach step\, 1 million years 👣\nDeep Time Walk is a transformative journey through 4.6 billion years of Earth history via a 4.6 km guided walk. It is an invitation to view the world differently\, encouraging positive action and advocacy for a regenerative Earth. \nUncover the deep history of Earth\nTravel through the birth of life\, 5 mass extinctions\, changing climates and the evolution of everything we know.\nYour facilitator will stop the group along our timeline and add insights about these events for the group. \nConnect with the natural world\nThis walk will have us explore the developments of life and the experience of Deep Time. It is a transformative and humbling experience as you move through the vast expanses of time before human history. \nLogistics\nWe will walk around 7 km: to Northwood House then along to Gurnard\, maybe Gurnard Luck\, before heading back along the seafront to the car park.\nBring appropriate clothes and footwear.
