What is the
Climate Fresk?

The Climate Fresk is a 3-hour interactive workshop that teaches you about our changing climate system and empowers you to take high-impact climate action.

The workshop guides you through the findings of reports by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the global authority on climate science.

It was designed by climate educator Cédric Ringenbach in 2018 to help make the latest IPCC report more accessible.

Participants walk away with a deeper understanding of our climate, a stronger connection to the social issues of climate change, and clear ideas about how they can make a difference.

Workshop Structure

The Climate System

The first half of the workshop is an interactive card game.

The cards contain causes and effects of the climate system. Your job? To put the cards in order of cause and effect, revealing how human activity leads to major impacts on our world.

Our facilitators will guide you on the journey, offering new insights and a broad perspective on the state of our shared home.

Connecting

The story of the climate crisis can be a difficult one to hear.
 
In the second part of the workshop, we sit with that difficulty and share the impact of what we’ve discovered.
 
Staying with this part of the process helps us overcome despair and overwhelm, and move towards action.

Action

The final part of the workshop is a group actions brainstorm.
 
We work together to identify high-impact climate actions at the individual and collective level. This is where we think BIG and strategic. 
 
We can tailor this to your business/sector or community context, so you can find the most relevant and specific paths to take.
